Volleyball Recap: Oak Harbor Find Success

After losing to Bellevue the last time they met, Oak Harbor decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rockets walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Redmen on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

The win didn't come easy: Bellevue scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21.

Tatum Baumgartner paced Oak Harbor's offense, picking up 13 kills. Baumgartner got some help from Bella Rios and her 13 assists. Baumgartner was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Oak Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Oak Harbor has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Perkins on the 19th. As for Bellevue, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Port Clinton on the 16th.
