After losing to Blaine the last time they met, Mt. Baker decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Mt. Baker Mountaineers' way against the Blaine Borderites on Wednesday as the Mt. Baker Mountaineers made off with a 58-37 victory. The Mountaineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Mt. Baker's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Blaine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

Mt. Baker will take on Squalicum at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Blaine, they will welcome Lynden Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lynden Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Blaine likes a good challenge.
