Cushing entered their tilt with Apple Springs on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Apple Springs Eagles a 19-0 shutout. The Bearkats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Cushing's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Apple Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Cushing will face off against Alto at 5:00 p.m. on March 20th. Apple Springs will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wells at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
