The Middletown Middies had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Hamilton Big Blue. It was another big night for Gracen Goldsmith, who rushed for 203 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry for Hamilton. Goldsmith's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards. Wyman Carr got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Middletown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hamilton, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Middletown will take on Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will square off against Colerain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Colerain likes a good challenge.
