Softball Recap: Charlotte Country Day School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Forest Hills last Monday, Charlotte Country Day School came back down to earth. The Buccaneers lost 15-5 to the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Molly Moran made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.

Charlotte Country Day School has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

As of now, neither Charlotte Country Day School nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
