If Oswego wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Laurence, they should've done a better job of containing Leah Romano. The Vikings came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Romano, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

St. Laurence never let Oswego on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 28-26.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Laurence and bumps their season record up to 5-2. As for Oswego, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Coming up, St. Laurence will be taking part in a tournament against Richards at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oswego, they will venture away from home to face off against Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
