After flying high against Sacopee Valley on Wednesday, Telstar came back down to earth. The Rebels took a 15-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gray-New Gloucester Patriots on Monday. Even though they lost, the Rebels' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.3 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Quinn Coolidge was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Cadie Campbell, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Telstar's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Gray-New Gloucester, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Looking ahead, Telstar will host Vinalhaven at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Gray-New Gloucester, they will head out on the road to take on York at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
