Basketball Recap: East Rowan Comes Up Short

East Rowan lost against Mount Pleasant back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs lost to the Tigers at home by a 54-38 margin. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

East Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Mount Pleasant, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Rowan will host West Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will be playing at home against South Stanly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Rowdy Rebel Bulls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 65 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
