Softball Recap: Todd County Central Takes a Loss

Todd County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 15-4 loss back in April.

Todd County Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Woodall, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Todd County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Franklin-Simpson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-21.

As of now, neither Todd County Central nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
