Daniel had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Fighting Tigers: they've now won six in a row.

Daniel not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Blue Ridge between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Zara Russell paced Daniel's offense, picking up 13 kills. Russell got some help from Emily Gilstrap and her 23 assists.

Daniel's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-21-2.

Looking ahead, Daniel will challenge Westside on Monday. Blue Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
