Softball Game Preview: Pasadena Eagles vs. Splendora Wildcats

Pasadena is on a four-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Splendora a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Pasadena Eagles will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Splendora Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Pasadena will be strutting in after a win while Splendora will be coming in after a defeat.

Pasadena will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Alief Elsik on Wednesday. Pasadena put the hurt on Alief Elsik with a sharp 19-1 victory. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Splendora suffered their closest loss since February 17, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hargrave by a score of 4-2.

Splendora's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Pasadena, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
