Volleyball Recap: Gilbert Christian Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Notre Dame Prep

Gilbert Christian faced Notre Dame Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Knights skirted past the Saints 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Lillie Duitsman paced Gilbert Christian's offense, picking up 15 kills. Duitsman got some help from Sidney Loth and her 28 assists. Sienna Cathey controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Notre Dame Prep still got an impressive performance from Cassidy Graninger, who had 16 digs and six assists. Bailey Kealy also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
