Basketball Recap: Kennedy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Van Nuys

There's no place like home for Kennedy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Van Nuys Wolves by a score of 46-34 on Thursday. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Van Nuys, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Kennedy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Sylmar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sylmar is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. As for Van Nuys, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Reseda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Reseda will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Van Nuys surely won't give up without a fight.
