Softball Recap: Cedar Valley Takes a Loss

Cedar Valley fell victim to Mountain Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Sentinels, falling 15-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Aviators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

This is the second loss in a row for Cedar Valley and nudges their season record down to 11-5. As for Mountain Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Cedar Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 win against Maple Mountain on the 8th. As for Mountain Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-0 victory against Tooele on the 8th.
