Basketball Recap: Boca Raton Christian Extends Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Boca Raton Christian). They put the hurt on the Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars with a sharp 71-45 victory on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-12.

Boca Raton Christian found their leader in freshman AJ Hazlewood, who posted 29 points. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for Hazlewood. Another player making a difference was Daniel Silva, who had 14 points.

When it comes to explaining why Dreyfoos School of the Arts lost, don't look at Luke Reese. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-10 to rack up 24 points and six boards. Reese is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. James Griffin was another key player, shooting 40% from the field on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

The win was the fourth in a row for Boca Raton Christian, bringing their record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Boca Raton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 99-67 win against Village Academy on the 8th. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-59 victory against The Greene School on the 8th.
