Basketball Recap: Westborough Takes a Loss

Westborough was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 48-23 to the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rangers have suffered against the Crusaders since January 14, 2020.

Westborough's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-3. As for Groton-Dunstable, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-3.

Westborough will venture away from home to square off against Oakmont Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Groton-Dunstable, they will face off against Marlborough at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
