The third road game was the charm for Bloomfield, as they earned their first away win of the season. They skirted past the Miyamura Patriots 10-8. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Meyah Valenica spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and five unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Mariah Ramero was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Alina Pinon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Bloomfield always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miyamura only posted an OBP of .333.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-12. As for Miyamura, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will venture away from home to square off against Kirtland Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Miyamura, they will head out on the road to challenge Shiprock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chieftains have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.41 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
