Matthew Metzger Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Northern Cass's Matthew Metzger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Metzger turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, picking up 102 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 88 yards.
Northern Cass is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Metzger and Northern Cass will square off against Hillsboro/Central Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Matthew Hoppe Makes It Two for Northern Cass
Another Northern Cass player making an appearance on this list is Matthew Hoppe. He rushed for 91 yards.
Hoppe is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Hillsboro/Central Valley on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Hoppe saw the H-CV Burros), he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry.
