It was fun while it lasted, but Holy Cross's undefeated season came to an end after 11 games on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 73-72 to the Kennedy Cougars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (69), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Holy Cross fell to 11-1. As for Kennedy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Holy Cross didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 62-55 win against Wright on the 30th. Kennedy has also already played their next contest, a 39-38 victory against Archbishop Hannan on the 30th.
