Baseball Game Preview: Perry Hall Gators vs. Perry Hall Christian

The Perry Hall Gators will challenge Perry Hall Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Perry Hall had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Dulaney put an end to it on Friday. The Gators fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Gators' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Gavin Rayner made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Meanwhile, Perry Hall Christian suffered their closest loss since April 30, 2025 last Wednesday. They fell just short of Eastern Tech by a score of 5-3. Perry Hall Christian has struggled against Eastern Tech recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Caleb Parron put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit. Parron was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Parron wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Shank, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Logan Schech also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Perry Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Perry Hall Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
