Softball Recap: Grant County Takes a Loss

Owen County hit Grant County with a four-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 8-7. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-2 back in March.

Grant County's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Owen County, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Looking ahead, Grant County will challenge Scott at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Owen County, they will take on Trimble County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
