After losing to Lexington the last time they met, Reading Memorial decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rockets beat the Minutemen by a goal, winning 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Reading Memorial's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Lexington are ranked 18th).

Reading Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5-3 record this season. As for Lexington, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-3-2 record.
