Basketball Recap: Nevada Comes Up Short

Nevada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blevins Hornets. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Jays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-38 back in January.

Nevada's loss dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Blevins, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nevada has already played their next contest (against Genoa Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Blevins will take on Ouachita at 5:00 p.m. on February 14th.
