Soccer Recap: Berthoud Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thompson Valley, Berthoud was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Berthoud were the better team in the second half.

Madison Ott was the driving force of Berthoud's attack as she scored both of Berthoud's goals, bringing her season total up to nine goals.

Berthoud now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mountain View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Berthoud and Mountain View will both be playing Greeley Central the next time they take the pitch. The Mountain Lions will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
