After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northampton, Chincoteague was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Arcadia Firebirds by a score of 3-1. The Ponies haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Chincoteague's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Arcadia, they are on a 28-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Coming up, Chincoteague will welcome Worcester Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arcadia, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Randolph-Henry at 7:00 p.m. on the 20th.
