Football Recap: Franklin Lions vs. Little River Academy Bumblebees
Franklin extended their road winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Jayden Jackson. The Franklin Lions simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Little River Academy Bumblebees 51-15 thanks in part to Jackson, who rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Although Little River Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Brian Grissom and Josh Mann.
Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Little River Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 66-10 win against McGregor on the 25th. Little River Academy has also already played their next contest, a 59-28 loss against Troy on the 25th.
