Volleyball Recap: Blue Ridge Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Blue Ridge can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Daniel Lions on Wednesday. The Fighting Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

While Blue Ridge ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-18.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21-2. As for Daniel, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Blue Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Daniel, they will challenge Westside on Monday.
