Baseball Game Preview: Garfield G-Men vs. LaBrae Vikings

Garfield is 1-6 against LaBrae since April of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The G-Men will be playing at home against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. The last four games Garfield has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Garfield fell victim to John F. Kennedy Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the G-Men were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, LaBrae unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 6-3 to Crestview.

LaBrae saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Brunstetter, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was Brunstetter's first of the season. Another was Owen Boone, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

LaBrae's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Garfield, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
