Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Worth County

Worth County won the last time they faced Cook and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Worth County Rams' way against the Cook Hornets as the Worth County Rams made off with a 7-0 win. Brooklyn Youngblood was a massive factor in the win as she booted in six goals all by herself.

The victory was the third in a row for Worth County, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Cook, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Worth County will challenge Sherwood Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Worth County has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 25 goals over their last three contests. As for Cook, they will take on Pierce County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Cook has given up an average of 6.1 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
