Volleyball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont Comes Up Short

Weyauwega-Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders.

Ebrielle Thoma-Loehrke paced Weyauwega-Fremont's offense, picking up six kills. Thoma-Loehrke got some help from Jayln Loehrke and her ten assists. Alana Chaplin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Weyauwega-Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

Coming up, Weyauwega-Fremont will square off against Shiocton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chiefs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Warhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Freedom on the 13th.
