Football Game Preview: Winter Springs vs. Lyman

Lyman will challenge Winter Springs on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close match.

Lyman might have drawn first blood against Lake Minneola last Friday, but it was Lake Minneola who got the last laugh. Lyman came up short against Lake Minneola, falling 13-26. The game was a 13-13 toss-up at halftime, but Lyman were outplayed the rest of the way.

Meanwhile, Winter Springs came up short against Lake Howell, falling 0-14.

With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Winter Springs's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Lyman defensive front that amassed 5 sacks against Lake Minneola, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
