Basketball Recap: Schalick Comes Up Short

Schalick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 80-39 defeat at the hands of the Overbrook Rams. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Rams are ranked 132nd).

Schalick's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Overbrook, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Schalick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-52 defeat against Pitman on the 23rd. Overbrook has also already played their next game (against Salem County Vo-Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
