The Kimball Jaguars will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Half Moon Bay Cougars at 8:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Kimball beat Tracy 53-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kimball.
Kimball's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tobe Nwankwo, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Ryan, who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Meanwhile, even though Santa Clara scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Half Moon Bay still came out on top. Half Moon Bay enjoyed a cozy 72-58 win over Santa Clara.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 2-0 season records intact.
