Volleyball Recap: Nitro Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Nitro can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Thursday. They came out on top against the St. Albans Red Dragons by a score of 2-0. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Red Dragons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Zoe Hyatt, who had 12 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted three kills, the most she's had over her last six matches. Another player making a difference was Miley Mullins, who had five kills, four digs, and two aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Nitro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 3-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Nitro's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for St. Albans, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Nitro has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Scott on the 25th. As for St. Albans, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Herbert Hoover on the 18th.
