Baseball Recap: Stone Bridge Takes a Loss

Stone Bridge suffered their closest loss since May 6, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Loudoun County Captains by a score of 11-9. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Stone Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Loudoun County, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Stone Bridge will welcome John Champe at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games John Champe has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Loudoun County, they will square off against Tuscarora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Loudoun County is facing Tuscarora at the right time seeing as Tuscarora is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
