East Surry lost to North Surry back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Everything went the East Surry Cardinals' way against the North Surry Greyhounds as the East Surry Cardinals made off with a 54-34 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

North Surry's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bitty Phillips, who posted 12 points and three steals. Ava Badget was another key player, putting up eight points and six rebounds.

East Surry pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points per game. As for North Surry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-5 record this season.

East Surry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-48 victory against South Stokes on the 29th. North Surry has also already played their next game, a 45-36 win against Mount Airy on the 29th.
