Volleyball Recap: Masuk Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Masuk won the last time they faced Pomperaug and Mary-Kate Boyle did her part to make sure it happened again. Masuk blew past Pomperaug 3-0 on Friday thanks in part to Boyle, who had 18 digs. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Masuk never let Pomperaug on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.

Masuk has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Pomperaug, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Masuk will square off against New Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pomperaug, they will head out on the road to square off against Nonnewaug at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
