Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addie Sullivan and Kate Wulf Lead Blair to Victory

Blair lost to Norris back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Blair Bears had just enough and edged the Norris Titans out 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bears have posted against the Titans since December 14, 2019.

Blair was led to victory by Kate Wulf and Addie Sullivan. Wulf posted 14 points, while Sullivan put up 11 points.

Several Titans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bree Chambers, who went 5 for 8 en route to 16 points. Those 16 points gave Chambers a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ize Tidball, who earned ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Blair and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Norris, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blair will face off against Harlan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norris, they will square off against York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. York will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Norris surely won't give up without a fight.
