Basketball Recap: Space Coast Takes a Loss

Space Coast lost against Edgewood back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Space Coast Vipers received a blow as they fell 55-36 to the Edgewood Red Wolves. The Vipers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caleb Trexler had an outrageously good game for Edgewood as he went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Trexler a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Ruiz, who posted ten points and four steals.

Space Coast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Edgewood, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Space Coast beat Edgewood by a score of 50-40 on Tuesday.
