Preview: Southern Fulton Indians vs. Everett Warriors
The Southern Fulton Indians will be playing at home against the Everett Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Southern Fulton earned a 48-39 victory over Tussey Mountain.
Southern Fulton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Stotler out in front who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ethan Mellott, who scored 10 points along with 8 assists.
Meanwhile, Everett's and Meyersdale's game on Thursday was close at halftime, but Everett turned on the heat in the second half with 37 points. Everett blew past Meyersdale 65-41. The victory was just what Everett needed coming off of a 75-49 defeat in their prior match.
The victory got Southern Fulton back to even at 1-1. As for Everett, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.
Southern Fulton was able to grind out a solid win over Everett in their previous meeting back in January, winning 42-30. Will Southern Fulton repeat their success, or does Everett have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
