Basketball Recap: Dacula Comes Up Short

Dacula and Lowndes squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dacula had to settle for second. They took a hard 58-40 fall against the Vikings. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lowndes found their leader in sophomore Ar'Tavian Brown, who went 6-for-9 to rack up 15 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Kaiden Brown was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds.

Dacula is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-9. As for Lowndes, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Dacula does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lowndes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Peachtree Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
