After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Gardiner, Skowhegan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They snuck past the Messalonskee Eagles with a 26-20 victory. The River Hawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Despite the loss, Messalonskee still got an impressive performance from Tatum Doucette, who rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.
