Recap: Fabens Wildcats vs. Riverside Rangers

The Fabens Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 66-18 loss at the hands of Riverside. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fabens has scored all season.

Leading Riverside to victory were Isaiah Candelaria and Richard Arellano. Candelaria scored 13 points, while Arellano scored 15 points. Candelaria continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Fabens' loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Riverside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fabens will take on Clint at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clint has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20. As for Riverside, they will head out on the road to square off against Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mountain View focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight last Friday.
