Hobbton came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Princeton, but Evan Pate wouldn't allow it. It took a bit of extra time, but the Bulldogs secured a 67-57 victory against the Wildcats in overtime on Tuesday thanks in part to Pate: he shot 60% from the field en route to 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Pate continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Despite the loss, Hobbton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Richard Simpson went 12-for-24 to rack up 27 points. Amir Tate was another key player, putting up 11 points.

The win got Princeton back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Princeton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against South Johnston at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hobbton, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Western Harnett at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
