Basketball Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Comes Up Short

St. John Bosco Academy was the 40-32 winner over Highland when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The St. John Bosco Academy Patriots fell 53-41 to the Highland Huskies on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Highland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alli Mae Moddrell, who went 5 for 11 en route to 13 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Moddrell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Beck, who posted eight points and 13 rebounds.

St. John Bosco Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Highland, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

As of now, neither St. John Bosco Academy nor Highland have any future games scheduled.
