Recap: Tuscarora Titans vs. Frederick Cadets
The Tuscarora Titans fell victim to the Frederick Cadets''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Cadets. Tuscarora has struggled against Frederick recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frederick to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tae Anderson, who rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Montana Williams was in the mix as well, providing Frederick with two touchdowns.
Tuscarora's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Frederick, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Tuscarora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Frederick will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Governor Thomas Johnson. Governor Thomas Johnson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Frederick is ranked 37th).
