Basketball Recap: Udall Takes a Loss

Udall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were dealt an 80-45 defeat at the hands of the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 86-53 back in January.

Despite the loss, Udall still got an impressive performance from Jordan Hornecker, who posted 18 points. That was a full 40% of Udall's points, marking the fifth time in a row Hornecker has earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was James Hornecker, who put up eight points.

Udall's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Udall has already played their next contest, a 73-61 defeat against South Haven on the 22nd. Cedar Vale/Dexter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
