Football Recap: Centennial Spartans vs. Ennis Lions

After soaring to 37 points the game before, Centennial was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were dealt a 41-13 defeat at the hands of the Ennis Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Spartans of the 45-30 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

WENDERIUS JONES was nothing short of spectacular for Ennis: he rushed for 192 yards and four TDs while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 192 rushing yards gave JONES a new career-high.
