Volleyball Recap: Glynn Academy Takes a Loss

Glynn Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Hoyas. The Terrors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hoyas from their previous meeting back in October of 2019.

Glynn Academy's offense was headlined by Jocelyn Jackson and Izzy G Counsil, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Laura Beth Baldridge and her 12 assists.

Harrison was led to victory by Taryn Musca and Addison Cooley. Musca had seven assists and five aces, while Cooley had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Musca has posted since back in September of 2024.

Glynn Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Harrison, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Glynn Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against West Forsyth on the 9th. As for Harrison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Milton on the 9th.
