Cerritos has gone a perfect 10-0 against Pioneer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 4:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Cerritos came up short against Oxford Academy and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-27, 25-18, 25-21.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Pioneer and Whitney meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Titans fell 3-1 to the Wildcats.

Cerritos' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7. As for Pioneer, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.

Cerritos took their win against Pioneer in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Dons repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
